Who We Are
We’re a Bay Area-based band of long-time musical compatriots. We formed this group with the idea playing original music that nourishes both mind and heart; melodic modern jazz to be enjoyed by everyone, whether you’re an experienced jazz listener or you’re hearing jazz for the first time. We’re on Facebook, but this web site and the email list is the best way to keep on top of all things FivePlay.

Live radio concert: On January 7th, 2012, we played a live concert in the studio of KPFA-FM as part of their BAJABA (Bay Area Blues and Jazz Artists Showcase) series. We’re working on getting it up on this website so that you can check it out.
Listen: We were recorded in concert last June at Piedmont Piano Company in Oakland and broadcast on KCSM-FM, on Jim Bennett’s “In the Moment” show. If you love jazz radio, be sure to pledge to KCSM, and tell ‘em FivePlay sent ya. If you do, let us know and we’ll send you a FivePlay bumper sticker!
